The 85 th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade featuring Grand Marshal Olivia Newton-John, will premiere as a two-hour primetime special on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT (7:00 p.m. CT) on The CW Network repeating on Wednesday, December 21, 2106 at 3:00 p.m. ET/PT (2:00 p.m. CT) on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel

It's only been three days since NBC's latest installment in their series of annual live musical events, Hairspray Live!, but the stars of the production are already being hit hard with nostalgia! There is one undeniable quality that HAIRSPRAY has retained as it has journeyed from the big screen to the stage, back to the big screen, and now to the small. The infectious excitement and optimism that Tracy Turnblad sings with in the opening number, 'Good Morning Baltimore,' is one of the most magical and important gifts that the musical theatre has given in recent decades. From the moment that the original musical burst onto Broadway in 2002, it has been a literal and figurative rainbow of joy and happiness, and fortunately for the show's legions of fans, directed by Tony-winner Kenny Leon, NBC's live adaptation has maintained every delightful ounce of the musical's giddy goodness.
