2014 Tony Award Nominations - Who Was SNUBBED?!

The 2014 Tony Award Nominations were announced earlier today, and while a select, talented few will spend the day celebrating their achievements, there are many who just fell short of a 2014 nod. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you the list of the productions and performers who were sadly overlooked by the nominating committee.

Breaking News: Final 2014 Tony Awards Eligibility from LADY DAY to CABARET!

The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the fourth and final time this season to determine the eligibility of eighteen Broadway productions for the 2014 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee has met a total of four times throughout the 2013-2014 season to decide the eligibility for the 68th Annual Tony Awards.

Broadway's MOTHERS AND SONS to Display AIDS Memorial Quilt at Golden Theatre

The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally and starring Tony Award and six-time Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly is proud to announce that portions of The AIDS Memorial Quilt are now on display in the lower lobby of the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), where the critically-acclaimed play currently resides. The Quilt, fittingly, is prominently referenced during the course of the 90-minute play, making its residency inside the theater especially poignant. Audience members of Mothers and Sons are encouraged to view the quilt before or after any performance. The quilt will be on display for the entirety of the run of Mothers and Sons. Nathan Lane Joins Tyne Daly and Terrence McNally for MOTHERS AND SONS Talkback Tonight

The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, now playing at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), will hold a special talkback tonight, April 23rd with Terrence McNally and Tyne Daly joined by fellow Tony Award winner Nathan Lane, who previously worked with McNally on Love! Valour! Compassion!; Bad Habits; Lips Together, Teeth Apart; Dedication or the Stuff of Dreams; and the film version of Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. The talkback will begin shortly after Wednesday evening's 7pm performance.

On the newest THEATER TALK, actress Tyne Daly and playwright Terrence McNally discuss the new play Mothers and Sons, McNally's latest work on Broadway, now at the Golden. Hosted by Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins, THEATER TALK's Mothers and Sons episode premieres in the New York metropolitan area Friday, April 11 (2014) at 1 AM (Saturday morning) on Thirteen/PBS, and continues on CUNY TV* Saturday 4/12 at 8:30 PM, Sunday 4/13 at 12:30 PM, and Monday 4/14 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 7:30 PM.

Broadway's MOTHERS AND SONS Announces Talkback Series with Huffington Post, New $30 Ticket Policy

The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally has announced today that it will offer a series of post-show talkbacks in conjunction with the Huffington Post Gay Voices on four consecutive Wednesday evenings (4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30) at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). Special guests will include LGBT activist and journalist David Mixner, attorney Roberta Kaplan, Huffington Post Gay Voices deputy editor Curtis M.
