Jacob's Pillow Dance, National Historic Landmark and home of America's longest-running international dance festival, kicks off Festival 2010 with the prima ballerina Nina Ananiashvili. The Festival runs Wednesday, June 23 through Saturday, June 26 at 8pm; Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27 at 2pm. Tickets range from $10-63. $10 Friday evening and Saturday/Sunday matinee youth tickets available. Casting for the first two weeks of American Ballet Theatre's 2010 Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.

American Ballet Theatre will celebrate its 70th Anniversary Season with an Opening Night Gala on Monday, May 17 at 6:30 P.M. Mrs. Michelle Obama will serve as Honorary Chairman, along with Caroline Kennedy and Blaine Trump. The Spring Gala will honor David H. Koch for 25 years of service to ABT and its Board of Governing Trustees.

American Ballet Theatre will dedicate its performances at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., January 26-31, 2010, to the memory of Ballet Mistress Georgina Parkinson, who passed away in December. A beloved friend and colleague, Ms. Parkinson held the title of Ballet Mistress with ABT for more than 30 years.

The Joffrey Ballet's 2009-2010 'Season of Legends' continues with Sir Frederick Ashton's Cinderella, back by popular demand. Widely considered one of the greatest ballet interpretations of this timeless fairytale, Ashton's Cinderella is an enchanting fantasy full of splendor, humor and magic. The Chicago Sinfonietta, the official orchestra of The Joffrey Ballet, under the baton of conductor Scott Speck, will provide live musical accompaniment of Sergei Prokofiev's classic score.
