Erika Banks and More to Join OMNI Ensemble's 30th Anniversary Concert, 4/18 & 20

The OMNI Ensemble will conclude its 30th season of concerts in the recital hall at the Center for the Performing Arts at the College of Staten Island, 2800 Victory Boulevard on Thursday afternoon, April 18th at 3:00 pm and at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music on Saturday evening, April 20, 2013 at 8:00 pm. Music Director/Flutist David Wechsler will be joined by guest artists Erika Banks, vocal, Jim Ponzi, guitar, Art Bailey, keyboards, Jennifer Vincent, bass, and Dave Forman, drums.

The McCallum Theatre Announces Its Star-Studded 2013-14 Season

The McCallum Theatre announced today its new lineup of world-class entertainment scheduled for the 2013-2014 season with Tony Award-winning musicals and plays, legendary performers, beloved singers, Desert favorites, and international artistry all part of a very full and exciting roster. Subscriptions go on sale on Monday, April 8th at 8am for the Rabobank Broadway Blockbuster Series, Broadway and Beyond Series, Fitz's Jazz Cafe at the McCallum Series, Keyboard Conversations with Jeffrey Siegel Series, as well as a Create-Your-Own Series which allows patrons to mix, match, and program a full season of entertainment tailored to their own individual tastes.

Evidence, A Dance Company paid tribute to the life and legacy of Beth Young, a dance enthusiast and long-time supporter of Evidence, A Dance Company, and recognized Goldman, Sachs & Co. and, Valentino D. Carlotti for supporting the arts and community outreach at The Torch Ball on March 25 at New York City's The Plaza Hotel. Photo Flash: First Look - HANNIBAL's 'Amuse Bouche,' Airing 4/11

On the second episode of NBC's upcoming series HANNIBAL, titled 'Amuse Bouche,' Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), now an official special investigator with the FBI, helps Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) and the BAU unit search for a murderer who buries his victims alive to grow mushrooms. In their therapy sessions, Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) begins to gain Will's trust as they bond over responsibility for Abigail (guest star Kacey Rohl), and helps Will open up about his true feelings about killing Hobbs. Meanwhile, Freddie Lounds (guest star Lara Jean Chorostecki) snoops around the BAU's investigation. Caroline Dhavernas and Hettienne Park also star. 'Amuse Bouche' airs April 11 at 10:00 p.m. on NBC.

Music in The Moonlight Jazz Series with Don Braden Set for 4/21 at Luna Stage

Luna Stage continues its Jazz Series with "R&B Goes Jazz", featuring critically acclaimed saxophonist and flutist Don Braden. Braden, performing with drummer Cecil Brooks III and others, will play his contemporary standards repertoire, featuring Jazz arrangements of songs by Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind and Fire, Roberta Flack and others. He will also perform some of his original compositions. 'R&B Goes Jazz' will be presented on Sunday, April 21st at 7:30pm. Reagle Music Theatre Nominated for 10 IRNE Awards

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston has been nominated for 10 Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Awards in the Large Theater category for shows from the company's 2012 season. "Bye Bye Birdie" received eight nominations, including Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for Anita Gillette (Chapter Two, Moonstruck, 30 Rock). "A Chorus Line" and "My Fair Lady" each earned one nomination. Winners will be announced on April 29 at the Boston Center for the Arts Cyclorama, 539 Tremont Street, Boston. A pre-ceremony reception begins at 7:00 p.m. The awards ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m.

Annual Historic Pendleton Spring Jubilee In Its 36th Year In 2013

The 36th Annual Historic Pendleton Spring Jubilee, a juried arts and crafts festival, will display the artwork of 90 artists with their one-of-a-kind pieces for sale. The festival will take place Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 7 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, delicious food, information from local non-profits, free shuttle-parking and public transportation provided by CATbus. Pendleton District Commission invites families to spend a spring weekend in beautiful and historic downtown Pendleton and start a yearly family tradition.
