On Saturday, September 14th at 8 pm, Dave Stryker and Blue to the Bone will play The Falcon (1348 Route 9W, Marlboro, NY 12542).

The first production in Town Hall Arts Center's 2013-2014 Season will be Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, book by Jeffrey Lane, music and lyrics by David Yazbek. Based on the film "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" written by Dale Launer and Stanley Shapiro and Paul Henning. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is directed and choreographed by Nick Sugar, Henry Award winning director of Town Hall's 2012 production of The Who's Tommy and 2010 Henry Award winning production of RENT. Musical direction is by Donna Kolpan Debreceni, Henry Award Winner, The Who's Tommy.

BRIC has announced programming for its inaugural season in BRIC Arts | Media House (BRIC House), the new, 40,000-square-foot multi-disciplinary facility the organization will open in the former Strand Theatre at 647 Fulton Street on October 3.

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is seeking nominations for the 2014 Kennedy Center/Stephen Sondheim Inspirational Teacher Awards - a series of annual grants that recognize inspiring teachers in any field of education across the United States and has announced that for the first time they are also accepting nominations for a new posthumous award to honor teachers no longer alive. Now in their fourth year, the awards were created in honor of Stephen Sondheim's 80th birthday.
