Gettin' The Band Back Together (formerly titled Garage Band) is a rockin' valentine to the Garden State, and will be directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando - who also helmed The Toxic Avenger in New Brunswick (and New York) a few seasons back. Gettin' The Band Back Together will rock the house beginning Tuesday, September 24 and continue through Sunday, October 27. Opening night is set for Friday, October 4. Gettin' The Band Back Together is performed by special arrangement with Davenport Theatrical Enterprises, Inc. and Roy Putrino.

Just yesterday, Kids' Night on Broadway kicks off at the immersive and educational Discovery Times Square; where there were unique theatre activities including: Autograph Alley with Broadway performers, a dance workshop with Revolucion Latina, Broadway Karaoke, stage makeup demonstrations, craft activities and much more including a free theatre activity guide. The Broadway Green Alliance also collected plastic bottle caps (plastic and metal) to incorporate in to the set for the new production of Peter and the Starcatcher Off-Broadway.

Chantel Riley (Nala) and Ben Jeffrey (Pumbaa) will play "Millionaire" as a two-person team and will donate their winnings to The Actors Fund, a national human services organization that helps professionals in performing arts and entertainment in times of need, crisis or transition. The duo is guaranteed to win a minimum of $10,000 for The Actors Fund.
