David Mirvish will present the national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's ANYTHING GOES, the new Broadway revival of Cole Porter's timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece. ANYTHING GOES plays a strictly limited engagement, July 17 - August 18 at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Tickets go on sale 9:00 AM on Monday April 15th.

The world premiere production of the new musical TUCK EVERLASTING will play at Boston's Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre (106 Boylston Street) from July 28-August 18, 2013. The pre-Broadway production will feature (in alphabetical order): Fred Applegate (Sister Act) as 'Constable Joe,'Marylouise Burke (Fuddy Meers) as 'Nana,' Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (Scandalous) as 'Ma Tuck,' David Garrison (Titanic) as 'The Man In The Yellow Suit,' Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) as 'Jesse Tuck,' Daytime Emmy Award Winner Michael Park (How To Succeed...) as 'Pa Tuck,' Michael Wartella (The Kid) as 'Hugo,' and Valerie Wright (Elf) as 'Mother,' and will introduce Sadie Sink in the role of 'Winnie.' The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes in the Kennedy Center Opera House from June 11 to July 7, 2013. Winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes sails direct from Broadway under the direction of Kathleen Marshall, who won the 2011 Tony Award for Best Choreography. The production features music and lyrics by Cole Porter; original book by P.G. Wodehouse & Guy Bolton and Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse; and new book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman. Tickets go on public sale on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Press opening night is Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

According to an Equity casting notice, Sting's new stage musical, THE LAST SHIP, which has been buzzed about for an upcoming Broadway run, will get a staged reading this spring. Joe Mantello will direct the project, which is set to take place April 29 through May 11.

Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the Roundabout Theatre Company's national tour of ANYTHING GOES will go on-sale to the public Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at 10 a.m. ANYTHING GOES will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph) for a limited engagement April 23 - May 5, 2013.

In 1934, during the height of the Great Depression, Americans were looking for escapist entertainment and they found it in Cole Porter's frothy, screw-ball comedy, 'Anything Goes.'
