Broadway favorite Jonathan Groff, who leads HBO's upcoming 'Looking' series,is featured on the cover of this month's OUT Magazine. He shared on filming in San Francisco: "It was the last port of call for all the guys in the Navy, and the ones who were gay just stayed there because they didn't want to go back to their lives. The street where I was staying smelled like jasmine. I rode my bike every day to set. I was in heaven."
In an interview with Out Magazine published in this week's Huffington Post, the 28-year-old shared that he hopes the series will depict the 'reality of gay sex,' and not 'salaciousness'.
The series, which follows three friends who explore the fun and sometimes overwhelming options available to a new generation of gay men, also features Frankie J. Alvarez, Murray Bartlett, Russell Tovey, and Scott Bakula.
The Hollywood Reporter writes that British actor Russell Tovey has joined Ryan Murphy's LGBT dramedy series LOOKING for HBO from Michael Lannan. He will work alongside previously announced Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez and Murray Bartlett.
