February 3rd, 2009 was a very special day at the Music Box Theatre because August: Osage County celebrated its 500th performance (that's a lot of drugs, fights, fish and smashed plates!), BroadwayWorld sent in the cameras to capture all the 'family fun'! Original cast members Kimberly Guerrero, Sally Murphy, Troy West and Mariann Mayberry returned to their roles direct from their recent smash-hit limited engagement in London. And, to top things off, Tony winner Elizabeth Ashley joined the cast in the role of 'Mattie Fae'.

Tracy Letts' August: Osage County, winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and 2008 Tony Award, will begin a Senior Rush ticket offer starting on Tuesday, December 2, 2008. The will be first time a show will be offering rush tickets to seniors.
Tickets at $46.50 will be made available at the box office two hours prior the performance time on the day of the performance only. The Senior Rush offer is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 pm (Senior Rush tickets available starting at 5:30 pm) and Wednesdays at 2 pm (Senior Rush tickets available starting at 12:00 pm). (Beginning, January 6, 2009, Tuesday performances are at 7:00 pm.).

The Broadway community turned out Tuesday night, April 1st to fete DANIEL BREAKER, the 'breakout' star of the new musical PASSING STRANGE (at the Belasco Theater) and his bride-to-be director KATE WHORISKEY, who will tie the knot in Manhattan on Daniel's one day off from his hit Broadway show on Monday, April 7.
