Portland Ovations brings Grammy-award winning and legendary musician/songwriter Glen Campbell to Portland for a very special concert as part of his Goodbye Tour on Tuesday, October 16, 7:30 pm at Merrill Auditorium.

On Stage Touring, LLC, in association with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., announced today that it will kick off their 2012/2013 touring season of Elvis Lives 'The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Event' in Wilmington tonight, October 2, 2012. Due to incredible demand from audiences coast to coast, this season's tour will travel to sixty cities, presenting 100 performances, more than triple the number of last season's tour.

Trumpet virtuoso Allen Vizzutti has enjoyed a prolific career as performer and educator in both the jazz and classical fields since his early days with Woody Herman's big band and his notable four-year tenure with Chick Corea. The release of Vizzutti's superb new CD 'Ritzville,' on October 16, is an especially welcome event because the in-demand trumpeter/composer has recorded all too infrequently as a leader. 'Ritzville' brings the focus back to his primary passion of "performing music I love with my jazz group."

Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director) has announced their 2012-13 season, beginning with the 20 Year Anniversary Celebration of Urban Stages ON TOUR with Urban Stages OCTOBERFEST (October 7-November 4), followed by the award-winning "Winter Rhythms 2012" (December 4-16, 2012) a music-fueled two-weeks of established and promising musical artists performing new works. Accomplished jazz trumpeter, pianist and composer Arturo Sandoval brings his dynamic live performance to The Orleans Showroom tonight, September 15 and tomorrow night, September 16.

The National Symphony Orchestra Pops today announced that Megan Hilty, known nationwide as triple-threat Ivy Lynn on NBC's hit Smash, will perform with the Orchestra November 23-24, 2012 in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Ms. Hilty will perform three concerts paying tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra, as well as the Rat Pack, Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James. The performances will be led by NSO Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke.

Television and movie legend William Shatner will bring his one man show SHATNER'S WORLD: WE JUST LIVE IN IT (www.shatnersworld.com) to 20 additional cities across the U.S. in 2012-13. The tour extension follows a three-week run earlier this year at Broadway's Music Box Theatre from February 14 - March 4 and a successful tour of 15 cities across the U.S.

Olympia Entertainment and Fifth Third Bank have announced the lineup for the 10th annual Fifth Third Bank Holiday Series at the Fox Theatre featuring winter classics and new seasonal sensations.

Award-winning actress Janie Dee returns to Curve to play the title role in Artistic Director Paul Kerryson's production of Michael Stewart and Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly! This production reunites Dee and Kerryson following their collaboration on The King and I in 2010. The production opens on Wednesday 5 December, with previews from 30 November, and runs until 12 January 2013.
