Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre will dissect revolution with stilts and strings in 'REVOLUTION!,' a theatre spectacle that examines revolutions throughout the history of mankind as a backdrop for the extraordinary peaceful 1989 Velvet Revolution in former Czechoslovakia. Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue will present the work March 4 to 21, 2010. It will feature regulars of Czechoslovak American Marionette Theatre and guest artists.

Academy Award nominated director Spike Lee, the award winning Culture Project, Steve Colman and Jayson Jackson in association with The Public Theater is presenting County of Kings. Written and performed by Lemon Andersen (Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam), and directed by Elise Thoron, County of Kings will open tonight, October 12 at The Public Theater. The show has been in previews since September 29 and will run for a six week limited engagement.
Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theater will perform 'Twelfth Night (or What You Will),' the timeless Shakespearean tale of mistaken identity and misplaced matrimony, November 12 to 29, 2009 as part of La MaMa Puppet Series 3.
