Hamingson, Managing Director) is proud to present the world premiere production of Beau Willimon's play FARRAGUT NORTH, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (Doubt), and featuring Dan Bittner (The Vertical Hour) Kate Blumberg (Atlantic's Celebration and The Room), Tony Award winner John Gallagher, Jr. (Spring Awakening), Golden Globe Award nominee Chris Noth ('Sex and the City'), Otto Sanchez (HBO's 'Oz'), Olivia Thirlby (Juno) and Isiah Whitlock, Jr. (HBO's 'The Wire').

On Thursday August 14th, 2008 the upcoming Broadway production of A Man for All Seasons held a 'Meet & Greet' for the press and BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture the event.

Production begins today on location in Minnesota on A Serious Man, for Focus Features and Working Title Films. Joel and Ethan Coen, Academy Award winners for No Country for Old Men and Fargo, are writing, producing, and directing the film. Working Title co-chairs Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner are executive-producing the film with Robert Graf, who has worked on the Coens' last six features in various producing capacities.

It has been announced that Michel Gill will be replacing actor Michael Siberry as the Duke of Norfolk in the upcoming Man for All Seasons. Siberry will instead be joining the cast of Monty Python's Spamalot as King Arthur.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) announces the full cast for The Language of Trees, a new play by Steven Levenson, directed by Alex Timbers. The Language of Trees will feature Maggie Burke as 'Kay Danley,' Natalie Gold as 'Loretta Trumble-Pinkerstone,' Michael Hayden as 'Denton Pinkerstone,' Gio Perez as 'Eben Trumble-Pinkerstone' and Michael Warner as 'Bill Clinton.'

Reprising their roles from Morgan's stageplay are Frank Langella, who won a Tony for his portrayal of Nixon, and Michael Sheen, who fully inhabited the part of Frost onstage in London and New York. BroadwayWorld is pleased to bring you this sneak peek at the trailer!

The production features a new adaptation by Christopher Shinn and will be directed by Ian Rickson. Hedda Gabler will begin previews on Tuesday, January 6th, 2009 and open officially on Sunday, January 25th, 2009 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). This will be a limited engagement.

They met during The Phantom of the Opera and these two have been making beautiful music together ever since.

Haimes will appear as the special guest on Friday, July 18th at 6PM. The show will repeat on Saturday, July 19th at noon, Sunday, July 20th at 7PM, and Wednesday, July 23rd at midnight.

Producers Ben Sprecher and Louise Forlenza announced today the formation of GLOBAL BROADWAY PRODUCTIONS INC., a new production entity created to develop and produce new musicals for Broadway, the road, and international stages.
