Deadline reports exclusively that Julianne Moore may be cast in the role of President Alma Coin in Lionsgate upcoming Hunger Games sequel MOCKINGJAY. The film, to be helmed by Francis Lawrence, is based on Suzanne Collins popular book series.

Lionsgate announced today that Maria Howell has been cast in the role of 'Seeder' in the adaptation of Suzanne Collins' best-selling novel CATCHING FIRE. The character is described as 'a former victor from District 11 who competes in the 75th Annual Hunger Games, also known as the Quarter Quell.'
