The Skirball Cultural Center presents the Grammy-nominated Ghazal Ensemble on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., featuring Iranian master Kayhan Kalhor (kamancheh), Indian sitar virtuoso Shujaat Husain Khan, and acclaimed Indian tabla player Sandeep Das. This highly influential collaboration has dazzled audiences worldwide with their blend of two classical music traditions that have been intertwined historically, geographically, and culturally for centuries: the Persian dastgah and North Indian raga.

Inspired by Josh's real-life experiences as a temp worker at a San Francisco law office, HAIKU TUNNEL is a comic re-imagining of his disastrous transition from 'temp' to 'perm.' Music Director ?Marin Alsop will lead the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) in Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 8 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 3 p.m. at The Music Center at Strathmore. Also on the Classical Concert Series program are Barber's Medea's Meditation and Dance of Vengeance and Osvaldo Golijov's Rose of the Winds (BSO premiere).
