Chanhassen Dinner Theatres will resurrect its ever-popular 50s musical classic, FOREVER PLAID, opening Tuesday, January 10, in the Fireside Theatre.

LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS is thrilled to announce the second year of its wildly successful series, TRIBUTE FRIDAYS, featuring the most authentic tribute bands around paying homage this season to Journey, Bon Jovi, David Bowie, Queen, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones! Concert dates are Friday, August 26, 2011 at 8pm and Friday, September 9, 2011 at 8pm and Friday, September 16 at 8pm. The lobby bar will open for Happy Hour at 6:30pm.

The evening begins at 6:00 pm ET with MY MUSIC: MOMENTS TO REMEMBER, when classic TV host Peter Marshall, New York radio legend Cousin Brucie and MY MUSIC executive producer TJ Lubinsky will be joined in the studio by crooners Bob Flick of The Brothers Four and Frank Busseri of The Four Lads to present a celebration of favorite songs from the late '50s and early '60s.

TJL Productions announced today that MOMENTS TO REMEMBER, one of the most enduring offerings from its acclaimed MY MUSIC series, will return to PBS in June by popular demand.

BEEHIVE THE 60's MUSICAL closes out the season for the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, providing a refreshing and cheery dose of 1960's sunshine, and filling the theatre with the sounds of classic pop tunes from that era. This jukebox musical focuses on the contributions that women made to music during those turbulent times, and features six supremely talented singers who bring these familiar favorites to life while being backed by a superb band. The Rep's current production is a sheer delight, conjuring up memories of days gone by with an energetic cast who may have been too young to have heard these songs the first time around, but who do wonderful work with this material, nonetheless.

The prize, named for American songwriting brothers George and Ira Gershwin, has been awarded annually since 2008 to a musician who has made exceptional contributions to the world of popular song. The prize's first recipient was Paul Simon. Last year, Stevie Wonder received the award.
