La Jolla Playhouse presents the world-premiere production of Miss You Like Hell, book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winner Quiara Alegria Hudes (In the Heights, Water by the Spoonful), music and lyrics by acclaimed singer/songwriter Erin McKeown, directed by Lear deBessonet (Public Theatre's The Odyssey) and choreographed by Danny Mefford(Broadway's Fun Home).

The Public Theater has announced a final extension today for the first major New York revival of PLENTY, written by David Hare. Directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux, the show began performances on Tuesday, November 4 and was originally extended through Sunday, November 20. It will now run through Thursday, December 1, with an official press opening Sunday, October 23.

The New York-based devised theater company, Theater in Asylum (TIA), will present four performances of The Debates: General Election at Under St. Marks Theater in the East Village.

Playwrights Foundation and the National Center for New Plays at Stanford begin the 2016/17 Rough Reading Series on October 24 & 25 with early draft  readings of ALL FALL DOWN by Lisa Ramirez (PF Resident Playwright), on Monday, Monday, October 24 - 7:30 pm at Stanford and Tuesday, October 25 - 2:00 pm at Custom Made Theatre in San Francisco.

Origin Theatre Company, which specializes in introducing some of Europe's most compelling contemporary playwrights to New York audiences in brand new productions, presents the English world premiere of the internationally acclaimed play "Poison" by Dutch playwright Lot Vekemans.

All For One Theater (AFO) has announced that Gideon Irving will indeed make his American stage debut with his new solo show My Name Is Gideon: I'm Probably Going To Die, Eventually which now opens Thursday, November 17th at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place).
