Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band previously announced its debut concert performance, taking place tonight, November 19 at the Laurie Beechman Theater (407 West 42nd Street ). The concert will feature a 17-piece orchestra and Broadway vocalists performing Rosen's arrangements of classic showtunes, standards, and some new surprises.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the NBC network is planning a possible drama series which will give viewers an in-depth look at America's first President, George Washington. The project will examine both his years in the presidency and his service as a hero during The Revolutionary War.

Amas Musical Theatre, in association with Scandobean Productions, LLC, presents a new musical with book, music and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen entitled The Other Josh Cohen. BBC AMERICA has renewed its first original scripted series, COPPER, for a second season, ahead of the season one finale this Sunday, October 21 at 10:00pm ET. The channel has re-commissioned the drama with an increased order of 13 episodes from Cineflix Studios.

Walker, the first African American millionaire, and a jazz-fueled romp into the madness of Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot.
Westport Country Playhouse's one-night-only fundraising gala, "The Full McNally: A Celebration of the Writing and Works of Terrence McNally," will take place this evening, September 24. McNally is the winner of Tony Awards for his plays "Love! Valour! Compassion!" and "Master Class," and his books for the musicals "Ragtime" and "Kiss of the Spiderwoman." His other works include "The Full Monty," and "Lips Together, Teeth Apart," which was produced at Westport Country Playhouse in 2011.
