Brave Spirits Theatre has announced its fourth production, William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. The production will run beginning June 12 at the Atlas Performing Arts Center, 1333 H Street, NE, Washington, D.C.

There's music, dance, comedy, tragedy, great performances but it just seems to take forever.

Hartford Stage, under the leadership of Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak and Managing Director Michael Stotts, presents Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, directed by Tresnjak, on stage from tonight, May 18 through June 16.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company has announced the promotion of Miriam Weisfeld from Director of Artistic Development to Associate Artistic Director, an evolution reflective of Woolly's ongoing effort to unify its literary and production activities. In her new role-a position instituted only a few times in Woolly's 34-year history-Weisfeld will continue to manage Woolly's artistic programming from commissions and season selection to implementation, and now also provide oversight of casting, Connectivity, and other initiatives.

World-renowned playwright and Tony Award nominee Ken Ludwig (Crazy for You, Lend Me a Tenor) will be hosting an interactive discussion on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, followed by a book-signing of his new book How to Teach Your Children Shakespeare at the Folger Shakespeare Library on Saturday, June 8 at 12pm.

Resident professional theatre company Festival Stage of Winston-Salem will return to downtown's Hanesbrands Theatre for its fourth season in 2013-14, presenting Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers Oct. 18-Nov. 3; Driving Miss Daisy Feb. 7-23; and the romantic comedy Talley's Folly May 2-18.

The presentation, directed by SHERYL KALLER, with musical direction by JOHN McDANIEL, will take place at the Snapple Theatre Center (1627 Broadway) for invited industry audiences only.
