Epic Theatre Hosts Arts & Human Rights Conference In Conjunction With PASSION PLAY

New York's OBIE Award-winning Epic Theatre Ensemble (Zak Berkman, Melissa Friedman, Ron Russell, Founding Executive Directors), Culture Project, Lark Play Development Center, Rising Circle Theater Collective and Center for International Human Rights, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY today announced that they will present a full-day Arts and Human Rights Conference on Tuesday, May 25.

Flux Theatre Presents JACOB'S HOUSE 4/29-5/22

Due to rights issues, Flux Theatre Ensemble will not be producing Archibald MacLeish's play, J.B. as previously planned. In its place, Flux will be staging the world premiere of August Schulenburg's JACOB'S HOUSE, a play inspired by the loss of J.B. Playwright August Schulenburg has taken the themes, style, design elements, staging concept, and cast from Flux's planned production of J.B., and used them as inspiration to write his own unique riff on the story of Jacob wrestling the Angel.

IT OR HER To Be Part of The 7th Annual soloNOVA Arts Festival 5/5-22

Horse Trade Theater Group is pleased to announce that 2010 FRIGID Audience Choice Winner, IT OR HER, has been selected by the soloNOVA Arts Festival as their Favorite Solo Performance of the 2010 FRIGID New York Festival and has been chosen to be a part of the 7th Annual soloNOVA Arts Festival, presented by terraNOVA Collective at Performance Space 122 (150 1st Ave and 9th Street), May 5-22.
