The NYTB REP program with a World Premiere by Richard Alston has now added encore performances of three of Jerome Robbins' rarely seen ballets: Septet, Concertino and Rondo, recently performed in sold-out shows in The Harkness Dance Festival 2018 at 92Y. The program will feature live music for all works.

She has titled the REP evening David's Favorites.  

The French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF), New York's premiere French cultural center, is thrilled to welcome internationally renowned dramatist, novelist, and director Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, who will star in a performance of the theatrical adaptation of his beloved novella Monsieur Ibrahim and the Flowers of the Koran next Thursday, May 3 at 7:30pm in FIAF's Florence Gould Hall, 55 East 59th Street (between Madison & Park).

THE SHOW from Wednesday through Saturday, April 18-21-with a new Saturday performance added due to high demand!-at 7:30pm at FIAF's Florence Gould Hall, 55 East 59th Street, between Madison & Park.

Described by The New York Times as "French in origin, fantastical in concept, and freewheeling in execution," the festival will engage kids of all ages with the work of renowned artists across multiple disciplines. The Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF) are pleased to present Joel Pommerat's Little Red Riding Hood, a rare stateside performance of his most celebrated work, to open the third annual Tilt Kids Festival. Performances will take place at FIAF's Florence Gould Hall (55 East 59th Street) on Saturday, March 3 at 12 & 7pm, and Sunday, March 4 at 12pm.There will also be a Festival opening brunch before the Saturday matinee from 11am-12pm.

The palace of Versailles has attracted travelers since it was transformed under the direction of the Sun King, Louis XIV (1638-1715), from a simple hunting lodge into one of the most magnificent public courts of Europe. French and foreign travelers, royalty, dignitaries and ambassadors, artists, musicians, writers and philosophers, scientists, grand tourists and day-trippers alike, all flocked to the majestic royal palace surrounded by its extensive formal gardens. Opening April 16 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Visitors to Versailles (1682-1789) will track these many travelers from 1682, when Louis XIV moved his court to Versailles, up to 1789, when Louis XVI  (1774-1792) and the royal family were forced to leave the palace and return to Paris.   The exhibition is made possible by The International Council of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
