The Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival, a summer concert series dedicated to bringing world class artists up close and musical to its audiences in the Pocono Mountains, will hold its seventh annual season July 29th through August 7th at various locations in the Pocono region.

Dennis Zacek and Grippo Stage Co., Inc., will present CONFESSIONS OF A P.I.M.P., written and performed by Andre De Shields, and directed by Samuel G. Roberson and Dennis Zacek. The cast also includes Kim Lawson and Donica Lynn. CONFESSIONS OF A P.I.M.P. runs August 25, 26 and 27, 2016 at 8pm at Victory Gardens Theater, located at 2433 N. Lincoln Ave.

Joining the original cast as the Wizard is Tony Award-nominated actor Andre De Shields, Broadway's original 'The Wiz' (1975).

The Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival has added a collection of star Broadway performers to their opening concert. Broadway and West End veteran Alton Fitzgerald White (The Lion King, The Who's Tommy), Tony Award winner Faith Prince (Guys and Dolls, Disaster!), Tony Nominee Kerry Butler (Xanadu, Disaster!), and Drama Desk nominee Daniel Reichard (Jersey Boys) will give an inside look into their journey from the audition room all the way to opening night of the Broadway show that put them on the map. These four performers will be backed by a 16-piece Broadway orchestra.

The UK's Sunday Show Tunes, in collaboration with Executive Producer Maureen Rejali, presents composer/lyricist Scott Evan Davis in concert live at The Pheasantry in London. UK artists will join Davis in performing music from his new recording, NEXT, his debut CD, Cautiously Optimistic, and other originals. Artists include: Rosemary Ashe, Ilan Galkoff, Joel Harper Jackson, Stuart Matthew Price, Charlotte Baker Wakefield and others to be announced. There will be one show on September 18th at 8pm, with doors opening at 6pm. The ticket price is £15. A full dinner menu and bar are available. The Pursuit of Happiness, an independent television pilot, will soon get a closed NYC reading. The project is produced by Katherine Paige and directed by David Scala, with a story by Gavin Lodge and Wayne Wilcox.?

Disaster! producers Robert Ahrens and Hunter Arnold and Broadway Records President Van Dean today announced the release of 'Never Can Say Goodbye,' the first single from the forthcoming Original Broadway Cast Recording (out Friday, September 9, 2016), available for digital download on the label's website at BroadwayRecords.com.
