Photo Flash: Steppenwolf's LookOut Series Presents The Yard's production of columbinus

Steppenwolf's LookOut series is proud to present The Yard's production ofcolumbinus by the United States Theatre Project, written by Stephen Karam and PJ Paparelli. Directed byMechelle Moe and performed by The Yard's 15 young-person ensemble, columbinus runs Thursday, May 3 - Saturday, May 26 in the 1700 Theatre. Press date is Friday, May 4 at 8pm. Tickets ($15 - $25) to columbinusare on sale now through Audience Services (1650 N Halsted), 312-335-1650 and steppenwolf.org. Red and Black Card Members can use their credits toward columbinus, and Black Card members get 2-for-1 tickets.

Lookingglass Theatre Company Mounts 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEAS

Lookingglass Theatre Company concludes its 30th Anniversary season with the world premiere of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas adapted by David Kersnar and Althos Low, from the books by Jules Verne, directed by Ensemble Member David Kersnar. 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas runs May 23 - August 19, 2018 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.

Full Cast Announced For THE RINK at Southwark Playhouse

Stewart Clarke, Ross Dawes, Michael Lin, Elander Moore, Ben Redfern and Jason Winter will play Dino, Lino, Lucky, Benny, Lenny and Tony respectively in the first London revival in 20 years of Kander and Ebb's THE RINK. They join the previously announced Caroline O'Connor as Anna and Gemma Sutton as Angel.

Tiffany Villarin Joins TEENAGE DICK, Full Cast Announced

Ma-Yi Theater Company in association with The Public Theater are pleased to announce complete casting for TEENAGE DICK, the world premiere of a new play by Mike Lew (Tiger Style!). The production, which comes immediately following Ma-Yi's phenomenal success with the critically acclaimed KPOP, nominated for nine 2018 Lucille Lortel Awards, will be led by Tiffany Villarin (returning to Ma-Yi after her performance in House Rules) and the previously announced Gregg Mozgala.

Angélica Liddell Comes To Peak Performances This Week

Peak Performances presents the U.S. premiere of Esta Breve Tragedia de la Carne (This Brief Tragedy of the Flesh), Spanish writer, director, and performance artist Angelica Liddell's encapsulation of Emily Dickenson's morbidly beautiful understanding of the human condition. Gemma Sutton To Play Angel In THE RINK

Gemma Sutton will star as Angel, alongside Caroline O'Connor in the first London revival in 20 years of Kander and Ebb's THE RINK. The new production of THE RINK will play at Southwark Playhouse for a limited season from 25 May to 23 June 2018, with a national press night on Tuesday 29 May. Further casting to be announced.

The Hit Off-Broadway Play AFTERGLOW To Sponsor This Year's AIDS WALK

This season's hit Off-Broadway play, Afterglow, written and directed by S. Asher Gelman, which just announced a new block of tickets available through July, will be a sponsor of this year's AIDS Walk on May 20, 2018. In addition to sponsoring the event, Afterglow will assemble a team to participate in the walk before their two-show day. 

Magic Theatre Presents World Premiere Of THE GANGSTER OF LOVE

Magic Theatre (Loretta Greco, Artistic Director and Jaimie Mayer, Managing Director) announced today the complete cast of Jessica Hagedorn's World Premiere THE GANGSTER OF LOVE, the final production of the 2017-2018 season. Previews begin on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Magic Theatre's Fort Mason location, with a press opening on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are on-sale now.

The Acting Company Presents William Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT

The Acting Company (Ian Belknap, Artistic Director; Elisa Spencer-Kaplan, Executive Director) presents William Shakespeare's beloved comedy, Twelfth Night, directed by Tony nominee Maria Aitken (The 39 Steps) with a dynamic cast of The Acting Company alumni and ensemble members of Delaware's Resident Ensemble Players (REP). When her ship is wrecked, Viola washes ashore in the unfamiliar land of Illyria and embarks on a journey to find her lost brother. Brimming with music, love and longing, Shakespeare's enchanting play transports audiences to a world of comedic mayhem, mistaken identity and unrequited passion. This co-production with the Resident Ensemble Players comes to Polonsky Shakespeare Center (262 Ashland Pl, Brooklyn), May 10-27.

SECOND STORIES Debuts At The Triad

Almost 10 years ago, now Tony and MAC nominated Corinna Sowers Adler made her debut with a highly acclaimed cabaret entitled 'Stories'. On Sunday, April 22, at 4:30pm, she will bring the show concept back to The Triad Theater on West 72nd Street, in a new version entitled 'Second Stories' which features the story song works of some of today's most beloved composers like Jerry Leiber, Mike Stoller, Kurt Weill, Ira Gershwin as well as some lesser known surprises by Phil Hanseroth, Adam Gwon, Meg Flather, Garry Novikoff and many others.
