The Museum of Modern Art presents Performing Histories: Live Artworks Examining the Past, a performance series held in conjunction with two exhibitions at MoMA: Tokyo 1950-1970: A New Avant-Garde (November 18, 2012, to February 25, 2013) and Inventing Abstraction, 1910-1925 (December 23, 2012, to April 15, 2013). These performances constitute 'live' responses to the contexts of the two exhibitions, highlighting various artistic methods of engaging with history through a wide range of forms-dance, music, theater, and performance art. The series includes works by Eiko & Koma, Ei Arakawa, Trajal Harrell, contact Gonzo, Kelly Nipper with Japanther, and Fabian Barba.
The Living Theatre, the oldest experimental theatre group still producing in the United States, launches its 66th year with the world premiere of Judith Malina's HERE WE ARE -- with previews to begin January 10, prior to its official press opening January 23 at The Living Theatre (21 Clinton Street). Nickelodeon's suspense-filled series, House of Anubis, returns for season three with an hour-long episode premiering Thursday, Jan. 3, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). House of Anubis follows a group of students who uncover and solve hidden mysteries at an English boarding school while dealing with the highs and lows of their teenage years. In season three, the Sibuna gang returns to Anubis House with new leader Eddie (Burkely Duffield) as the Osirian. It's up to the Sibunas to untangle the mysteries and stop the adults from unleashing an evil so great it will destroy the world and everyone in it. The new season will feature returning favorite characters and also introduce new faces including KT (Alexandra Shipp), a sunny and tenacious American girl who becomes a vital part of the Sibuna gang, and Willow (Louisa Connelly-Burnham), a bright and quirky student from another boarding house.

Principal photography has begun on "After the Fall," starring David Duchovny, Hope Davis, and Timothy Hutton, written by Carroll Cartwright ("What Maisie Knew") and directed by Anthony Fabian ("Skin"). The film is produced by Anthony Mastromauro's Identity Films. "After the Fall" will shoot on location in Connecticut.
As Deadline reported earlier today, David Duchovny, Hope Davis, and Timothy Hutton are set to star in the upcoming film, AFTER THE FALL. The film is written by Carroll Cartwright (WHAT MAISIE KNEW), and directed by Anythony Fabian (SKIN). Identity Films is producing the picture.
