Winkler now joins a standout roster of celebrities set to attend next month's Wizard World Comic Con Portland, April 13-15 at the Oregon Convention Center, where he will greet fans, pose for photo ops, sign autographs and conduct an entertaining fan Q&A session.
After achieving success as 'Fonzie,' originally written as a minor character but which soon earned Winkler billing alongside other series stars Ron Howard and Tom Bosley, Winkler quickly transitioned to produce the successful television series 'MacGyver' and direct the film Memories of Me, among dozens of off-screen credits over the past four decades. Many fans of the franchise were unhappy over the casting news following allegations of spousal abuse by Depp's ex-wife, actress Amber Heard.
