Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati announced today that single tickets for the national tour of the new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, are now on sale.
Peter and the Starcatcher, an acclaimed new American play by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice, directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Drama Desk Award-winner and Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) on Wednesday, March 28, with an official opening night set for Sunday, April 15, 2012. Telsey + Co., casting office for the new Broadway production of ANNIE, will hold an open call in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 26, for girls ages 6-12 to audition for the roles of Annie and the orphans. According to the Chicago Trinune, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, which will close on Broadway later this month, will return to Chicago next week, and audiences should expect a reworked show.
