PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Kicks Off National Tour in Denver Today

The producers of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, the five-timeTony Award-winning musical play written by Tony Award nominee Rick Elice and directed by Tony Award winner Roger Rees and Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers, present the National Tour, which kicks off in Denver, Colo, tonight, August 15, 2013 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

Tom Skerritt Completes A TIME TO KILL Broadway Cast

Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced today that Emmy Award-winning actor Tom Skerritt will make his Broadway debut in A Time to Kill, Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. Skerritt will portray Lucien Wilbanks, the mentor to protagonist Jake Brigance (played by Sebastian Arcelus), in this thrilling, iconic courtroom drama. Skerritt joins the previously announced Sebastian Arcelus, Chike Johnson, Patrick Page, Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins, Fred Dalton Thompson, John Douglas Thompson, and Ashley Williams plus Dashiell Eaves, J.R. Horne, John Procaccino, Tijuana Ricks, and Lee Sellars. Casting is now complete.

Patrick Page, Tonya Pinkins, Chike Johnson, Ashley Williams & More Join A TIME TO KILL on Broadway

Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced today that Patrick Page, Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins, Chike Johnson, and Ashley Williams plus Dashiell Eaves, J.R. Horne, John Procaccino, Tijuana Ricks, and Lee Sellarswill join the previously announced Sebastian Arcelus, Fred Dalton Thompson, and John Douglas Thompson in the new Broadway courtroom drama A Time to Kill, Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. This new Broadway play holds the distinction of being the first-ever John Grisham property to be adapted for the stage. A Time to Kill is set to open on Broadway on October 20, 2013 at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). Previews begin September 28th. Ethan McSweeny will direct. All For One Theater Festival (AFO) and Michael Wolk, Executive Director, have announced the exciting line-up of the Third Annual All For One Theatre Festival. The official announcement was made Monday night at a garden party at The Courtyard at the Hartley House, with a wine tasting sponsored by a cellar full of noise, included appearances by Mike Daisey, Colman Domingo and BD Wong, and special guests including Tom Hewitt and Nilaja Sun. Award-winning solo performer Ben Rimalower presented Eva Price with the Pioneer Award, recognizing individuals and companies who have forged the way for solo theatre. The third annual All For One Theatre Festival will play a limited engagement at Cherry Lane Studio Theater (38 Commerce Street, NY). Performances begin Friday, Oct 11 and continue through Saturday, Nov 9.

Faith Prince Takes Over for Jane Lynch as 'Miss Hannigan' in ANNIE Today

Tony Award-winner Faith Prince will return to Broadway as evil orphanage matron Miss Hannigan in the new Broadway production of ANNIE at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway between 46th and 47th Streets). She will begin performances tonight, July 19. Emmy Award-winning 'Glee' star Jane Lynch will play her final performance as Miss Hannigan on Sunday, July 14.

Steve Rosen to Join Cast of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER as 'Smee' on 7/8

The producers of the audience and critics' favorite Peter and the Starcatcher announced today that Steve Rosen, who stepped in to play the role of Black Stache for certain performances during the show's Off-Broadway run at NYTW, will again step into the show, this time to take over the role of Smee, on Monday, July 8. Kevin Del Aguila will play his last performance on Sunday, July 7, before joining the cast of Love's Labours Lost at The Public Theater. Del Aguila returns to Peter and the Starcatcher onAugust 26.

Jane Lynch & ANNIE Cast Set for Album Signing at Barnes & Noble Tomorrow

Shout! Broadway will release the new 2012 Cast Recording for ANNIE CD on Tuesday, June 18. To celebrate the release of the CD cast members Jane Lynch, Anthony Warlow, Lilla Crawford, Brynn O'Malley, Clarke Thorell, creators Charles Strouse, Martin Charnin and Tom Meehan and more will sign copies of the album at Barnes & Noble (160 East 54th Street at 3rd Avenue) beginning promptly at 12:30 p.m. and ending at 1:45 p.m.

Tony-Nominated ANNIE to Launch Tour in 2014-15!

ANNIE, nominated for a Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, will launch a US National Tour in the 2014-2015 season. The national tour will be produced by Troika Entertainment. The new production of the classic Tony Award-winning musical, opened to critical acclaim on November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street).

Jane Lynch to Appear on THE TODAY SHOW Tomorrow

Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Lynch, who stars in the hit FOX television show "Glee" as ruthless cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester and who recently made her Broadway debut as tyrannical orphanage matron Miss Hannigan in ANNIE, will be a guest on NBC's "Today" tomorrow, Tuesday, June 4, in the 10:00 AM hour. Northwestern's AMTP to Workshop New Musical FOUND, with Book by Hunter Bell, 5/31

The American Music Theatre Project (AMTP) at Northwestern University will present two invited readings of the new musical 'Found' with book by Tony Award-nominated writer Hunter Bell and writer Lee Overtree, and music and original lyrics by Eli Bolin on Wednesday, May 29 and Friday, May 31, as part of the program's 'In The Works' initiative.

Emmy Award-winning actress Jane Lynch, who stars in the hit FOX television show "Glee" as ruthless cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester and who made her Broadway debut last week as tyrannical orphanage matron Miss Hannigan in ANNIE, will be a guest on "The View" tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21.
