The Cabaret & Performance Conference, led by artistic director Michael Bush, will present five more nights of new work featuring world-class entertainers. The week begins Tuesday, August 9 at 8pm with Jim Dale, Tony-Winner and voice of the Harry Potter audio books in his one-man show Jim Dale: Still Carrying On. Wednesday is Lillias White: From Brooklyn to Broadway, a personal journey with one of the musical theater?s great ladies, which will perform August 10 at 8pm.

Pine Box Theater returns from a three-year hiatus with the world premiere of A GIRL WITH SUN IN HER EYES by Chicago writer Joshua Rollins, directed by Matt Miller and featuring Pine Box company members Audrey Francis and Vince Teninty with Karen Aldridge, Sean Parris, Steve Pickering and Lucy Sandy. Book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo , music by Ben Morss and directed and choreographed by Sam Viverito based on the famous dancing mouseling and her friends created by Katharine Holabird and illustrated by Helen Craig. Performances are Saturdays at 12pm and Sundays at 2pm. American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) announced that the record-breaking world premiere musical Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City, which has been extended four times, will close July 31.

Following sold out runs of Twelfth Night and Richard II last summer, Sonnet Repertory Theatre announces their upcoming production of Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle, directed by Christopher Schilder. The Caucasian Chalk Circle will begin performances on Thursday, July 28, with an official opening slated for Friday, July 29.

According to Deadline.com, Tony nominee Josh Gad has just signed with Brillstein Entertainment Partners. for management. In addition to starring in THE BOOK OF MORMON on Broadway, Gad is a correspondent on The Daily Show and is creating a comedy for NBC.
