The 2012 spring and summer season at The Joyce Theater will offer audiences the chance to see companies and artists from all over the world performing on its stage.

Richard Maxwell and his company, New York City Players (NYCP), present and produce Dreamless Land, a new project written and directed by 13P's Julia Jarcho.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues its inaugural season in its new state-of-the-art Pasadena venue with DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS by EUGENE O'NEILL, directed by Dámaso Rodriguez, which opens Saturday, November 19 and closes Sunday, December 18, 2011 (previews begin November 12).

THE PEARL THEATRE COMPANY (J.R. Sullivan, Artistic Director) has announced the company for Shakespeare's drama, RICHARD II. The production, beginning November 8 at New York City Center Stage II, will be directed by J.R. Sullivan and features Sean McNall as Richard II. The twelve member cast features both members of The Resident Acting Company and guest artists who will portray over 30 characters.

Mary Stout has joined the cast of Moss Hart & George S. Kaufman's THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER, starring Jim Brochu as Sheridan Whiteside and Tony Award winner Cady Huffman as Lorraine Sheldon.

This holiday season, the award-winning Peccadillo Theater Company will present Moss Hart & George S. Kaufman's THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER starring Jim Brochu as Sheridan Whiteside and Tony Award-winner Cady Huffman as Lorraine Sheldon. This marks the Off-Broadway debut of the classic American comedy.

The Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) will present a workshop of THE PIPER, a new musical featuring music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning composer Marcus Hummon ('Bless the Broken Road') and book by Michael Aman and Hummon.

Part of the big news this week is that THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has broken the house record of Broadway's Eugene O'Neill Theatre for the 20th time. The show earned $1,351,168.50 for the week ending Sunday, October 30, 2011 in the 1,068-seat O'Neill, one of Broadway's smallest theatres.
