50 SHADES! THE MUSICAL Plays Chicago's Apollo Theater and North Shore Center, 11/16-17 & 23-24

The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy has shattered sales records around the globe with more than 32 million copies sold in the United States alone and a 2013 Universal Pictures feature film release is sure to be a cinematic blockbuster. Now, for the first time, the original parody 50 SHADES! THE MUSICAL is coming to Chicago at the Apollo Theater, 2540 N. Lincoln Ave., tonight, Nov. 16 and Nov. 17 at 10:30 p.m.

Richard Dreyfuss, Lance Bass, Annette O'Toole and More to Headline San Diego Reading of '8', 11/19

Production & Celebrity Entertainment, with license from the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Broadway Impact, has announced a one-night-only reading of "8," a play chronicling the historic trial in the federal constitutional challenge to California's Proposition 8, written by Academy Award-winning screenwriter and AFER Founding Board Member Dustin Lance Black.

Leslie Uggams Performs CLASSIC UGGAMS in Two Shows at Liu Tilles Center Tonight, 11/10

Tony and Emmy Award winner Leslie Uggams will present two special performances of her new cabaret Classic Uggams at the Long Island University Tilles Center for the Performing Arts tonight, Saturday, November 10 at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. The legendary actress and singer will then make her 54 Below debut with the show November 13-17 in Manhattan.

Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre announces a second extension of Julian Sands in A Celebration of Harold Pinter, with performances now set to run through November 30, in the Irish Repertory Theatre's W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre (132 West 22nd Street). John Malkovich directs.

ELF Begins Performances at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theater Today, November 9

Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures in association with Unique Features and Jujamcyn Theaters present Jordan Gelber (Avenue Q, All My Sons) as Broadway's favorite elf, 'Buddy' in the hit holiday musical ELF. He will be joined by Leslie Kritzer (Sondheim on Sondheim, A Catered Affair) as 'Jovie' and Mitchell Sink as 'Michael' in his Broadway debut.

Sonnet Repertory Theatre just announced that Nikki Renee Daniels (The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess) will be joining SRT's previously announced Benefit and Cabaret November 12 at 92YTribeca, honoring award-wining director, Julie Taymor. Celebrating Taymor's visionary career, this evening will feature some of Broadway's greatest talents and legends.

FANCY NANCY THE MUSICAL Begins at The Culture Project, 11/24
