Jiehae Park's PEERLESS to Make World Premiere at Yale Rep This Fall

Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of PEERLESS by Jiehae Park, directed by Margot Bordelon, November 27-December 19 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is Thursday, December 3. The cast of PEERLESS includes Teresa Avia Lim, Christopher Livingston, Caroline Neff, JD Taylor, and Tiffany Villarin.

Brown/Trinity Rep to Present THE LOVE OF THE NIGHTINGALE

The Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Programs present Timberlake Wertenbaker's The Love of the Nightingale directed by Caitlin Ryan O'Connell ('16) opening December 4, 2015. A modern adaptation of the Greek myth of Philomele, Nightingale tells the story of two sisters who survive foreign lands, vast journeys and extremes of love and violence.

RACHEL CALOF Adds Another Performance at United Solo

RACHEL CALOF, a play with music, based on the life of Rachel Calof, a Jewish picture bride who was a homesteader on the Great Plains from 1894-1904, was chosen to be highlighted in the United Solo Theatre Festival.

Submissions for National Music Theater Conference Now Being Accepted

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is now accepting projects for development during the 2016 National Music Theater Conference. Applicants may submit music theater works for consideration through Monday, November 23rd, 2015. The authors of works selected for the 2016 conference will be awarded a two week residency during June or July with a stipend, housing, meals, and transportation to support an intensive rehearsal process and four script-in-hand public readings.

En Garde Arts Kicks Off BOSSS Festival This Weekend

En Garde Arts presents BOSSS, its new site-specific outdoor performance festival featuring new works by some of the New York City's most promising emerging theatre artists, this weekend, October 23-25 throughout Hudson River Park. The opening night party at The Frying Pan will now take place on October 23 at 7pm. (Tickets for the opening night party, on board the Frying Pan at Pier 66, are $250 or $75 for artists.)

Leanne Borghesi Returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko Tonight

Back by popular demand, the sumptuously talented Leanne Borghesi returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko with an encore performance of her solo show, LUSH, for one performance only - tonight, October 16 at 8 p.m. Directed by Nicolas Minas, LUSH takes audiences on an intoxicating comedic odyssey through lust, love and loss. Borghesi mixes us an up-tempo elixir of lounge, Latin, jazz and Broadway, with a special tribute to Shirley Bassey and the hits of Eartha Kitt and Rosemary Clooney.
