On the upcoming Jan. 9 episode of GUYS WITH KIDS, entitled 'Marny's Dad,' Gary (Anthony Anderson) learns of his father-in-law's (guest star Ernie Hudson) disdain for him, he is willing to do whatever it takes to earn his respect. Elsewhere, with Chris' (Jesse Bradford) love life in a rut, he goes on a date with Shelia (Erinn Hayes), prompting a horrified Nick (Zach Cregger) and Emily (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) to try their hand at matchmaking. Unfortunately their good will quickly turns into a competition at Chris' expense. Tempestt Bledsoe also stars.
Deadline reports that NBC has ordered four additional episodes of its freshman comedy series GUYS WITH KIDS. The order will bring the series first season total to 17 episodes.

Adult Swim announced today that it has picked up a fourth season of Childrens Hospital, the irreverent, satirical comedy series created by and starring Rob Corddry (Hot Tub Time Machine, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart). Adult Swim has ordered 14 new episodes for premiere in 2012, and principal photography will begin later this year on the hit comedy from Corddry and fellow executive producers/writers Jonathan Stern (producer of The Ten and NTSF:SD:SUV::) and David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models, the upcoming Wanderlust).

Animation will be on-hand for panel sessions, screenings, media appearances and autograph signings. This will mark the largest contingent of talent from WBTVG ever assembled for the world's leading pop culture convention. (In 2009, WBTVG featured 12 television series at Comic-Con.)
