The acting company includes Emily Bergl ('Desperate Housewives'), America Ferrerra ('Ugly Betty'), and Kate Mulgrew ('Orange is the New Black'), with Kally Duling, Alexandra Henriksen, Colbie Minifie, Jesse Perez, Madeline Sayet, and Erin Wilhelmi (Perks of Being a Wallflower).

AMERICAN HERO opens tonight, May 22 and is presented at Second Stage Theatre's uptown home, the McGinn/Cazale Theatre on Broadway at 76th Street.

Due to popular demand, Second Stage Theatre will extend the limited run of Bess Wohl's AMERICAN HERO one week, now running through June 15th.
