Twist of the Magi starts with O'Henry's classic short story, Gift of the Magi . Then it sets it in an authentic 1940's live, on-air radio broadcast, and adds a slew of disgruntled actors, a frantic sound effect technician, a whacky female trio, a delinquent (and inebriated) Shakespearean prima donna, a jealous Italian femme fatale and a host of other broadcasting eccentrics.
Chicago theatre talent comes together for Unidos: Puerto Rico Benefit Concert. This one-night-only charity event will be held at 8:00pm on Monday October 30, 2017 at Uptown Underground, 4707 N Broadway St in Chicago. All proceeds will help aid hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico through the Hispanic Federation.

This madcap comedy centers on George and Charlotte Hay, fading stars of the 1950's who are on the brink of a disastrous breakup caused by George's dalliance with a young actress. They receive word that Frank Capra is coming to see their matinee and if he likes what he sees may cast them in his next movie. Unfortunately everything that could go wrong does go wrong due to their daughter's clueless boyfriend and hilarious uncertainty about which play they are performing.
