Barry Manilow Celebrates 'Mandy' Anniversary With ONE LAST TIME! Tour Deals

This week marks the anniversary of the No. 1 debut of Barry Manilow's mega hit song, 'Mandy,' on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1975. The Grammy, Tony, and Emmy Award-winning musician's career skyrocketed to superstardom when the song topped the charts in 1975. In the spirit of that special year, tickets to Manilow's concerts at Nassau Coliseum (March 27), Prudential Center (June 14) and Barclays Center (June 17) are priced to tie into that year and start at $19.75.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Nicole Scherzinger just made her West End stage debut as 'Grizabella' in Andrew Lloyd Webber's record-breaking musical Cats, and according to a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Webber has plans to bring the show (and his new star) to Broadway. He told DM: 'Cats will now definitely go to Broadway again. It's very exciting.' On Scherzinger's future involvement, he added: 'I would very greatly hope she would do it. To do something like that in America would open up a billion doors for her.'He continued: 'She is what you might call an American theatre babe. I do believe she is the most exciting musical theatre artist I have found - well, that I have worked with - in very, very many years. I really do.' The World Music Institute Presents CUBA TO BROOKLYN: PEPITO GÓMEZ, 2/7

The World Music Institute kicks off its vibrant, danceable World to Brooklyn series with Cuban vocal sensation Jose 'Pepito' Gomez on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at8:00 p.m. at Roulette. The show is preceded by an open cocktail hour beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Cuban dance lessons at 7:30 p.m., and is followed by an after-party DJ set untilmidnight. The Flea Theater presents Kim Davies' World Premiere Smoke, directed by Flea Resident Director Tom Costello (The Wundelsteipen (and other difficult roles for young people)) and featuring members of The Bats, the resident acting company at The Flea. Says Producing Director Carol Ostrow, 'where 50 Shades of Grey dances on the surface of BDSM, Smoke cuts to the core.' Performances will now run through February 1, 2015 at The Flea, where performances started in August of 2014.

Oakland East Bay Symphony to Perform NOTES FROM MEXICO, 3/27

PSO Chamber Concert to Feature OSPA Wind Ensemble, 1/11

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra Chamber Series presents Spanish Winds showcasing the Ventart-OSPA wind ensemble from PSO Music Director Rossen Milanov's orchestra in Oviedo, Spain, Orquesta Sinfonica del Principado de Asturias (OSPA). The concert highlights the sounds of Spain through works by Granados, Albeniz, Medaglia, and Piazzolla. Pieces by Claude Debussy and Paul Hindemith complete the program. The concert will be held at Wolfensohn Hall at the Institute for Advanced Study which partners with the PSO to present this chamber music series.
