Steppenwolf presents Clare Barron's YOU GOT OLDER. Both darkly humorous and deeply touching, YOU GOT OLDER follows a young woman who moves back home to care for her cancer-stricken father, after suffering a few personal crises of her own. YOU GOT OLDER was scheduled to open February 5th, but was delayed two days due to the passing of long-time ensemble member John Mahoney. YOU GOT OLDER will run through March 11th.

As its inaugural production LIZZIE enters its final two weeks of performances, Firebrand Theatre is pleased to announce casting for the second and final production of its inaugural season, the musical comedy 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL, playing April 7 May 20, 2018 at The Den Theatre's Bookspan Theatre, 1333 N. Steppenwolf Theatre Company announces full casting for its upcoming productions of BLKS by poet Aziza Barnes (December 7, 2017 - January 28, 2018); You Got Older by Clare Barron (January 25 - March 11, 2018); and Steppenwolf for Young Adults' production of The Burn by Philip Dawkins (February 14 - March 3, 2018).

Greenhouse Theater Center's Artistic Director Jacob Harvey is pleased to announce The Key: Young Critics Mentorship Program, a training program for Chicago youth in arts criticism created by national online arts platform Rescripted, The Chicago Inclusion Project and entertainment critic Oliver Sava and hosted by the Greenhouse. Launching this fall, the ten-week initiative for youth ages 16 - 20 will include arts criticism workshops and lectures with the program's creators, as well as guest speakers from all facets of the Chicago theater community. Students will attend Chicago theater productions throughout the fall season, write original critiques, undergo one-on-one editing sessions and create personal blogs to host their writing portfolio and multimedia reviews. Select critiques will also be published on Rescripted.
