The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and the Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in television, news, radio, promotional writing, and graphic animation during the 2011 season. The winners will be honored at the 2012 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at simultaneous ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York.

On tonight's episode of NBC's UP ALL NIGHT entitled 'First Christmas', Blythe Danner and Jason Lee guest star. In the episode, Reagan (Christina Applegate) will do anything to make Amy's first Christmas perfect, even if it means getting help from an unlikely source, her mom (Danner, 'Meet the Parents').
NBC Orders Two Additional Episodes of UP ALL NIGHT

According to TVGuide.com, the NBC network has ordered two additional episodes of its hit comedy series UP ALL NIGHT. NBC had previously announced that the show would be picked up for a full season and ordered an initial 22 episodes for its primetime line up. The comedy averages about 6 million viewers per week.

On tonight's episode of UP ALL NIGHT on NBC entitled 'Hiring and Firing', Reagan's (Christina Applegate) inability to fire a less-than-stellar assistant, Nancy (guest star Molly Shannon), leads Ava (Maya Rudolph) to question whether she has lost her edge. Meanwhile, Reagan and Chris (Will Arnett) hope to find a babysitter that will give him some much-needed parental relief. Jennifer Hall also stars.

On the November 9th episode of NBC's UP ALL NIGHT titled 'First Night Away', Reagan (Christina Applegate) and Chris (Will Arnett) have a romantic night away to reignite the spark in their relationship. While babysitting Amy, Ava (Maya Rudolph) connects with the Brinkley's neighbor, Kevin (guest star Jason Lee), a single dad who is the complete opposite of her ostentatious boyfriend, Julian (guest star Chris Diamantopoulos). Jennifer Hall also stars.

According to Deadline.com, Broadway veteran Christina Applegate is on board for NBC's still untitled Emily Spivey comedy pilot. As descibed by Deadline, the show 'is an irreverent look at parenthood through the POV of an acerbic working mother (Applegate) -- who never thought she'd be a mom -- along with her stay-at-home husband and opinionated parents.'
