When a violent episode erupts in a gentrifying neighborhood, a disconnected community is asked to examine the roots of 'random' violence. Penned by company co-founder Brenda Withers, the piece offers a sideways glance at public safety, personal responsibility, and the hidden costs of making a living.

Last night, January 18th, 2016, Theatre Now New York presented its 3nd Annual festival of new musicals, Sound Bites 3.0 (sponsored by Music Theatre International and Disney Theatrical Productions) to a sold-out house at the 47th Street Theatre. An after-party, sponsored by MTI, was held after at Hurley's Saloon where awards were given. Sound Bites showcases ten 10-minute musicals or musical excerpts in one evening. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced the national awardees of the 46th annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), April 14-19, 2014. Dozens of students received scholarships, fellowships, and cash awards in recognition of their outstanding work. From January 7 through March 1, 2014, these student artists from eight regions presented their work and were selected to travel to Washington, D.C. for an expenses-paid trip to participate in National Festival events taking place at the Kennedy Center.

This mini-conservatory trains the student to achieve Broadway caliber performance which is further shaped by industry professionals in prep for a two-evening performance at a top NY cabaret venue. Early this Fall GTT board member, Nicole Fosse agreed to create a scholarship in her name giving more opportunities for performers to take part in the 2013 season of Broadway Performance Project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Benjamin Stockham has joined the cast of NBC's upcoming comedy pilot 1600 PENN. The actor will join previously announced cast members Bill Pullman, Jenna Elfman, Brittany Snow, Amara Miller, Josh Gad and Andre Holland.
