Kaminski Auction's Annual Thanksgiving sale saw two strong days of prices and sell through at their special holiday auction held Saturday and Sunday, November 28th and 29th.

Emily Hall, the 2015 Artist in Residence at Corinthia Hotel London, is to present the premiere of her site-specific opera, Found & Lost, in January 2016. Hall's brand new piece, conceived in collaboration with the internationally renowned sound designer David Sheppard, will be performed for audiences of 12 at a time in the beautiful rooms, intimate spaces, and restricted areas of the hotel. The piece, developed during a month's residency at the distinguished five-star hotel, invites audiences to embark on a sonic journey of discovery in a promenade performance, where rooms will spontaneously break into song and drama will unfold along the corridors. 

Ground-breaking composer Emily Hall has been selected from eleven finalists to produce a site responsive opera piece at the Corinthia Hotel London. After entering the hotel's Artist in Residence competition - a search to find a composer or company to produce a brand new opera inspired piece inside the distinguished five star hotel- Emily Hall's idea was selected by a panel of music and arts industry leaders.

The Strand Theater Company proudly presents the inaugural production of its 2014 season, One Glitz Wish, by Kristin Harrison. A mash up of Commedia Dell'Arte, cabaret, and drag, One Glitz Wish is a hilarious evening of glamour and decadence that explodes the question of what it means to be a 'little girl.' One Glitz Wish, which opens June 1, is the first Strand production under the leadership of the new Artistic Director, Elissa Goetschius.

'Overflow' will open today, September 7 and be on view through October 27, 2012. An opening reception is set for tonight, September 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Strand Theater Company continues our first annual Second Saturday Reading Series. The Reading Series will give one new playwright each month, a chance to have their work produced for an audience. The series will be FREE to the public, and audience members will be asked to provide feedback to the playwright.

It's also a tale of betrayal, sex, murder, and a terrible secret kept for decades. Ultimately, lives hang in the balance as Jack is forced to decide between his love and his best friend. The outcome will not be pretty, but it will be unforgettable.
