Ground-breaking composer Emily Hall has been selected from eleven finalists to produce a site responsive opera piece at the Corinthia Hotel London. After entering the hotel's Artist in Residence competition - a search to find a composer or company to produce a brand new opera inspired piece inside the distinguished five star hotel- Emily Hall's idea was selected by a panel of music and arts industry leaders.

One Glitz Wish, which opens June 1, is the first Strand production under the leadership of the new Artistic Director, Elissa Goetschius.

Soho Rep's Artistic Director Sarah Benson has announced that the company's world-premiere of the newest work from Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, LEAR, will have 5 performances added, extending it now through February 6 at Soho Rep (46 Walker St.) in Manhattan. The production began previews on January 7 and will open on January 14.
