With over 12 million albums sold, two Golden Globes, two Emmy Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and Billboard's record-breaking television soundtrack sales for her work on 'Ally McBeal,' world-renowned artist, Vonda Shepard, returns to Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances only - Friday, November 18 (8 p.m.) and Saturday, November 19 (7 p.m.).

The Metromen were a New York City-based rock group of the late 1970s, early 1980s, that created their own brand of punk/rock music aiming to combine sophistication and humor. They recently re-united and performed at a new venue, THE BARN at The Egremont Village Inn in Egremont, MA. The Metromen rose out of the new wave period which was typified at the time by acts such as Joe Jackson, The Police and Elvis Costello, all of which were a large influence on the music and style of the band.

Princeton Symphony Orchestra Launches a Season of Chamber Concerts with The Schubert Octet

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) launches its chamber season on Thursday, September 22, at 7:30 pm with The Schubert Octet. The concert spotlights Franz Schubert's robust, beloved Octet in F Major, D. 803 and will feature the artistry of guest violinist Daniel Rowland and principal musicians of the PSO. The concert is the first of four presented in partnership with the Institute for Advanced Study and will take place in Wolfensohn Hall. Additional chamber concerts will take place at the Princeton University Art Museum, marking a fresh collaboration of the PSO and the Museum.
PSO Presents The Four Seasons with a Tango Twist

On Thursday, September 15 at 8 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) presents The Seasons -- Antonio Vivaldi's popular The Four Seasons interwoven with Astor Piazzolla's The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, arranged by Leonid Desyatnikov. The concert at Richardson Auditorium features Daniel Rowland as violinist and conductor, leading the PSO through Vivaldi's vividly depicted scenery and Piazzolla's soulful homage infused with passionate melodies and tango rhythms.

KAREN OBERLIN and TEDD FIRTH, frequent performing companions, joined forces in the Berkshires at The Barn at The Egremont Village Inn last night and Broadwayworld was there. Karen and Tedd performed songs that span the ages... from Jerome Kern to Elvis Costello, from Johnny Mercer to Joni Mitchell, and everything in-between. Oberlin has been the recipient of the New York Nightlife Award for Jazz Vocalist of the Year and every major cabaret award, including the Mabel Mercer Foundation's Donald F. Smith Award (presented to her at Jazz at Lincoln Center) and an Honorary Doctorate in Music for her performance work. She is a recording artist with four CD's, including her latest which has becoming a regular play for the legendary radio host Jonathan Schwartz. She has been hailed by the New York Times as one of the premier interpreters of the Great American Songbook and has headlined at such legendary New York venues as the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Birdland, Feinstein's/54 Below, and the Cafe Carlyle along with concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, The Town Hall, among many others, and has toured worldwide, including annual engagements in London and Paris, from which she recently returned.
