Daldry announces Billy's boys and Woman in White releases double CD

Casting has been announced for the Cleveland engagement of Disney's ON THE RECORD. The world premiere will begin performances in Cleveland at the Palace Theatre starting November 9, 2004 as part of the McDonald Financial Group Broadway Series. The press opening is Friday, November 19, 2004 at 7:30 pm. This brand new production is the fourth show from Disney Theatrical Productions, following BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE LION KING and Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA.

Urinetown book writer and lyricist Greg Kotis has penned a new comedy, Eat the Taste, which will make its United States of America(n) premiere this fall at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street at 7th Avenue).

Elton John & Tim Rice's AIDA begins its final 16 performances at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) tomorrow, Tuesday, August 24 following its triumphant 54-month run on Broadway. AIDA will close on Sunday, September 5 after playing 1,844 performances.

The new Broadway season's first drama is an Arthur Miller revival.
