Silver Spring Stage presents the community theater premiere of The Arabian Nights by Mary Zimmerman adapted from The Book of One Thousand Nights and One Night, directed by Jacy D'Aiutolo and produced by Bob Scott, exciting and breathtaking new take on the magical experience in which Scheherazade's stories, told to save her life, weave an enchanted carpet ride that will both delight the senses and provoke the mind. The Arabian Nights will perform weekends May 16 to June 7, 2014.

Mo Gaffney Joins Cast of Ogunquit Playhouse's GREASE

The Ogunquit Playhouse, America's Foremost Summer Theatre, kicks off its 82nd season with Grease, the musical that Ogunquit audiences rated as the No. 1 show they wanted to see in 2014. It's the beloved rock n' roll celebration of teen angst, fast cars and first loves all set in the fabulous fifties. This all-new production is on stage May 21 to June 21 and features the irresistible songs from the Tony Award nominated Broadway show and hit movie, including 'You're The One That I Want,' 'Grease Is The Word,' 'Summer Nights,' 'Hopelessly Devoted To You,' 'Greased Lightnin' and many more.

NONONO to Release Debut Album on 7/1

What We Feel, on July 1st on Warner Bros. Records. The album follows on last year's Pumpin Blood EP, which spawned the Top 40 hit of the same name. 'Pumpin Blood'was featured in a commercial campaign for Garnier Fructis, Universal Pictures' film Endless Love, Glee, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Dancing With The Stars, American Idol, Revenge, Cougar Town and Vampire Diaries, among others.

The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) at UBC presents a unique look at contemporary art viewed through the lens of Indigenous youth in its new exhibition Claiming Space: Voices of Urban Aboriginal Youth, from June 1, 2014 to January 4, 2015. Curated by Pam Brown, of MOA, with Curatorial Assistant Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers, this thought-provoking, radical exhibition examines the diverse ways in which urban Aboriginal youth identify with their environment – both in urban spaces and ancestral territories.
