The purpose is to raise money to establish a scholarship fund for talented, financially needy area dance students, not unlike the Queens-born Erin Lopez once was herself.

A New Musical by Bruce Hornsby officially opened at The Wells Theatre on Friday, January 21. This world premiere production features music and lyrics by Williamsburg native and Grammy Winner Bruce Hornsby, lyrics by Chip deMatteo and book by Clay McLeod Chapman. The show is based on an original story by Bruce Hornsby.

If you've seen a Broadway musical in the past decade, chances are you've seen Lorin, who's also a choreographer and songwriter.

The 2008 Chase Brock Experience Benefit will take place October 20th at Florence Gould Hall. This one-night only event will feature the company joined by an exciting group of artists from the Broadway, ballet and music worlds, all dancing in revivals of audience favorites as well as several world premieres.

On Monday, October 13th, some of Broadway's best dancers and performers joined together for KICKIN' IT: Broadway Gives Back at The Ailey Citigroup Theater (405 W 55th St @ 9th Ave). The concert was in honor of Ovarian Cancer Awareness. BWW was there to capture the emotional evening of song and dance for a truly worthy cause.
