Griffin Theatre's glorious production of the revised Tony award-winning musical 'Titanic' is a must-see for musical theater fans.

The Dolphin Show, America's largest student-produced musical, announces TITANIC as the 73rd Annual Dolphin Show. TITANIC is to be directed by Communication senior Brendan Flynn and produced by Communication senior Jack Eidson and School of Education and Social Policy senior Izzy Garcia, with support from a cast and team of over 150 Northwestern University students. TITANIC will run for five performances from January 23rd through January 30th in Cahn Auditorium, with tickets going on sale to the general public December 1st.

The Pasadena Playhouse announced that they will present Matthew Lopez's multi-award winning play THE WHIPPING MAN, which will replace the previously announced production of William Gibson's TWO FOR THE SEESAW as the fourth production of the 2014-2015 season. THE WHIPPING MAN is produced in association with South Coast Repertory, where the show will play January 4-25, 2015, and then transfer to The Pasadena Playhouse February 3 - March 1, 2015 with a press opening on February 4.

A Judy Garland Concert with Joey Luft features Judy Garland's son Joey Luft making a rare public appearance (July 10-13) followed by PLAYHOUSE ROCKS! with Tony Nominee Powerhouse MARY BRIDGET DAVIES, a Tony Award nominee for A Night With Janis Joplin which was presented last season at The Pasadena Playhouse and was the venue's highest grossing show in its history (July 17-20). The month will end with Henson Alternative's PUPPET UP! - UNCENSORED created by award-winning director, producer, and writer Brian Henson and actor and improvisational guru Patrick Bristow with The Jim Henson Company's renowned puppeteers (July 24-26). The Playhouse continues its tradition of distinctive and entertaining summer programming.

The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Elizabeth Doran, Executive Director), celebrates "Pasadena Day" with a performance of Vanessa Claire Stewart's STONEFACE, the fifth production of the 2013-2014 season.

Joe Orrach, US Air Force Welterweight Champ turned tap dancer, was discovered by Gregory Hines and has appeared on stage and television with Joan Baez, Bob Hope, the Smothers Brothers, Michael Davis, Liliane Montevecchi, Bill Irwin, David Shiner, Melissa Manchester, and the Cookie Monster. He's appeared in Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love You and in the long running Teatro ZinZanni in San Francisco. The Pasadena Playhouse is collaborating with Orrach to bring his skills and insight as a communicative performer to support the underserved in the Pasadena community. In his community workshops, Orrach focuses on how to communicate using both words and body language to share thoughts and feelings - as well as learning to read and learn about others by observing their body language and non-verbal cues. He has created exercises that improve public speaking by using the speaker's unique rhythms to best enhance personality and presence and best serve and communicate the authenticity of messages.
