I absolutely loved this pre-fall 2014 J Mendel dress and was pretty surprised to hear it was a J Mendel. Kate Mara also wore a J Mendel dress, hers being a silver deep plunging gown, which to me seems more typical of their label. This deep ruby and black sequined chevron pattern is definitely chic and beautiful and is a bit funkier than I have seen from them before.
