WAKING UP WITH STRANGERS Runs 6/29-7/2 At The Kraine Theater

Marc (Marco Formosa), an American scholar in Berlin, uncovers the dangerous equation behind his attraction to the great German dramatist Heinrich von Kleist, who died in 1811 in a notorious double suicide. Konrad (Nate Faust), from whom he is letting a room, offers Marc help in understanding his attraction to Kleist and opens up a disturbing confrontation with identity. Konrad's girlfriend Mina (Ji-Hye Kwon) is pulled into the vortex of their discovery. The life of Kleist (David Marshall) finds its eerie parallels in Marc's awakening.

Tony Randall Theatrical Fund Offers Ten 2009 General Operating Support Grants

This year The Tony Randall Theatrical Fund has expanded its giving guidelines beyond financial support for the production of a single classic play with The 2009 Tony Randall Theatrical Fund General Operating Support Grants, awarded to ten passionate, resourceful theatrical organizations that have continued to fulfill their artistic missions despite financial constraints.

Milioti, Mastrogiorgio, Serralles, Rattazzi, Goldberg and Woodard Lead LTC3's 'STUNNING' 6/1 -6/27

LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's new initiative devoted to producing work of emerging playwrights, directors and designers, has announced casting for STUNNING, the second production of its inaugural season. Sas Goldberg, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Cristin Milioti, Steven Rattazzi, Jeanine Serralles and Charlayne Woodard will be featured in STUNNING, a new play by David Adjmi, to be directed by Anne Kauffman. STUNNING will begin performances Monday, June 1 at 8pm, open Thursday, June 18 at 6:45pm and run through Saturday, June 27 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, (229 W. 42 Street).

With text inspired by As I Lay Dying, CHUCK.CHUCK.CHUCK. is a collage of spoken word, video, music and dance. An investigation of dislocation, failure and loss, the piece follows the family members of Addie Bundren as they decide to leave their home to fulfill her dying wish - to be returned to her birthplace for burial. CHUCK.CHUCK.CHUCK. charts their arduous journey and examines crises of family and faith.

TOO MUCH MEMORY Sells Out Entire Run Thru 12/22 Closing

Following rave reviews Too Much Memory, written by Keith Reddin and Meg Gibson, and directed by Ms. Gibson, has sold out its run through its closing on Monday, December 22, at the Fourth Street Theatre, 83 East 4th Street. The Rising Phoenix Repertory and Piece by Piece production opened Tuesday, December 9, to rave reviews as part of New York Theatre Workshop's Jonathan Larson Lab. All performances are sold out. Those wishing to be put on a waiting should arrive at the theatre 45 minutes prior to curtain.
