Burning Coal Theatre Company will present (Three Man) Tempest by William Shakespeare, adapted and directed by Randolph Curtis Rand, December 5 - 22, 2013. The production runs Thursdays through Saturdays, December 5 - 7, 12 - 14 and 19 - 21 at 7:30 pm and Sundays, December 8, 15 and 22 at 2 pm. All tickets are $25, or $20 for seniors (65+) and $15 for students. All Thursday evening tickets are $15. The Public Theater announced the line-up today for the 10thAnniversary of the world-renowned UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, running January 8-19, 2014. A highly-anticipated program of The Public Theater's winter season, the 2014 UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, curated by Co-Directors Mark Russell and Meiyin Wang, will include artists from across the U.S. and around the world, including 600 HIGHWAYMEN, Lola Arias, Edgar Oliver, tg STAN, SKaGeN, Andrew Ondrejcak, John Hodgman, Sekou Sundiata, Roger Guenveur Smith, and Toshi Reagon.

Plays is Gertrude Stein's whimsical and provocative lecture on theatre; a hidden gem of theatricality and wit that only Stein could have delivered. *The Argument was first presented by Target Margin Theater, and Plays was first presented by The Foundry Theatre.

The French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF), New York's premiere French cultural center, presents Tim Etchells's Sight is the Sense that Dying People Tend to Lose First, as part of its acclaimed Crossing the Line 2013 festival. Written and directed by Tim Etchells, leader of the UK's celebrated experimental performance group Forced Entertainment, Sight is the Sense that Dying People Tend to Lose First is a long free-associating monologue that tumbles from topic to topic to create a vast, failing iteration and explanation of the world, the things, forces, experiences, people and landscapes in it - what they are and how they work. Sight is the Sense… is performed by Jim Fletcher, best known for his work with Richard Maxwell's New York City Players and for his role in Gatz by Elevator Repair Service.

ARGUENDO began performances on Tuesday, September 10, and was originally extended through October 13.
