The world premiere of Tanya Saracho's El Nogalar (through April 24) launched the partnership in which the theaters together develop new work by Latino writers. Tirado's multi-ethnic, multi-generational play runs April 7 ? May 6, 2012 (Opening Night is April 16). Still to be announced are two Goodman Theatre productions in the 2011/2012 season. Victory Gardens Board Chair Board President Jeff Rappin announces that BHK Arts Consultants, Inc. will work with the Victory Gardens search committee to conduct a national search for the theater's new Artistic Director to replace Dennis Za?ek, who recently announced plans for his retirement. Za?ek will continue his tenure through spring 2011.

Mr. Weitz returns to Second Stage Theatre, where his plays Privilege and Show People premiered in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Directed by Peter DuBois, who staged Second Stage's acclaimed production of Becky Shaw, TRUST will begin previews on Friday, July 23 at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd street) and officially open on Thursday, August 12. The production runs through September 5.
