RESTLESS, Sundance Channel's riveting original miniseries, will premiere December 7th at 9 pm et/pt with part two premiering on December 14th at 9pm et/pt, it was announced today.

The Rose Theatre Kingston has announced its Christmas production and two further new Rose Theatre Productions in 2013. Covering the Christmas period, Cinderella The Midnight Princess, tells the magical classic Cinderella story with humour and the sublime music of Mozart. In-house productions include Noel Coward's The Vortex and Richard Bean's black comedy Smack Family Robinson, directed by the much-loved Richard Wilson. Next year also sees the return of Propeller with The Taming of the Shrew and Twelfth Night, and Northern Broadsides presents the groundbreaking Rutherford & Son, directed by Sir Jonathan Miller.

Under artistic director Edward Hall, the theatre company Propeller has launched PROPELLER PLAY a unique online interactive resource providing access to behind-the-scenes information, previously unseen photography and film footage, as well as insights into the different areas of theatre production.

Last night, Tuesday 11 September, the stage production of Chariots of Fire was host to over 60 members of the 2012 Olympic Team GB who attended a gala performance of Edward Hall's critically acclaimed production at the Gielgud Theatre and accompanied cast members from this five star production on stage for a special curtain call. Due to overwhelming public demand, Edward Hall's critically acclaimed production of Chariots of Fire now extends booking at the Gielgud Theatre to 2 February 2013. Since transferring to the West End in May this year for a previously announced limited run, Chariots of Fire has been championed by Olympians past and present who have joined theatregoers in applauding this inspirational tale of hope, honour and belief.

The third production to be staged at the brand new pop-up theatre space in Chichester is the world premiere of a witty and disturbing thriller by Penelope Skinner, one of the UK's most highly praised emerging playwrights. The cast includes award-winning actress Cush Jumbo and Olivia Poulet.

Today, August 14 at 11am audiences will be treated to a look at the Rockettes' past, present and future with a costume retrospective showcasing memorable Rockettes styles through the years, all leading up to a high energy performance by the legendary New York dance company.

Playwright April De Angelis takes a witty, exuberant look at the plight of the first actresses to tread the boards during the Restoration era in Playhouse Creatures, the second production to be staged at the brand new pop-up space, Theatre on the Fly. The show, directed by Michael Oakley, is set for tonight, 19 July - 11 August, 2012.

Ben Cross, Nigel Havers, Nicholas Farrell and Alice Krige, stars of the original 1981 film Chariots of Fire, made a surprise visit to the Gielgud Theatre last night, July 10, to meet with the actors currently performing in Edward Hall's five star stage production of the same name. The stage cast, led by James McArdle, Jack Lowden, Tam Williams, Mark Edel-Hunt and Savannah Stevenson were introduced to their film character counterparts and to an excited audience at the Gielgud Theatre. Hugh Hudson, Director of the original film and co-producer of the new stage adaptation joined actors from both film and stage at this unique curtain call.

As London gets ready to welcome the world to the 2012 Olympic Games, Edward Hall's five star production of Chariots of Fire opens (3 July 2012) at the West End's Gielgud Theatre following its critically acclaimed sell-out run at Hampstead Theatre. Inspired by Colin Welland's original screenplay, award-winning playwright Mike Bartlett's new adaptation is based on the true story of Eric Liddell and Harold Abrahams' inspirational tale of hope, honour and belief. Chariots of Fire is currently booking at the Gielgud Theatre to 10 November 2012.

Edward Hall's Propeller theatre company brings their touring productions of Henry V and The Winter's Tale to Hampstead Theatre on London, for a three-week run this summer (3 - 21 July 2012, press day Friday 6 July).
