The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures will honor Ballet Hispanico founder Tina Ramirez at the 2012 NALAC Conference in Philadelphia, PA at the Loews Hotel. In recognition of her award, Ballet Hispanico will present Ms. Ramirez with a performance of A Verme at the conference tonight, October 19, 2012 at 8:00pm at the Penn Museum, 3260 South Street, Philadelphia, PA.

Ballet Hispanico Announces BHdos Performance, 9/2

Ballet Hispanico, recognized as the preeminent Latino dance institution in the United States, announces the first performance of the Fall 2012 Season for BHdos, the company's pre-professional troupe. On September 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm, the company will perform at Central Park's Charles A. Dana Discover Center. The performance is the closing event of the Harlem Meer Performance Festival. Ballet Hispanico, recognized as the preeminent Latino dance institution in the United States, announces a Bessie Award Nomination for company member Jessica Alejandra Wyatt. Ms. Wyatt was nominated for a Bessie Award for Outstanding Performer (of a work that stretches the boundaries of a traditional or culturally specific form) for her performance in Asuka by Eduardo Vilaro, performed by Ballet Hispanico at the Apollo Theater.
