Last season's Uncle Vanya played to sold out houses, was honored with three Elliot Norton Award nominations, and left many on the waiting list hoping for a return engagement. Apollinaire Theatre is excited to announce that we will reopen Uncle Vanya on October 10th, featuring six members of the original cast, including Ronald Lacey reprising his role as Astrov (Elliot Norton nominee Outstanding Performance) and Kevin Fennessy as Telegin. We are thrilled to welcome Diego Arciniegas, Kate Paulsen, and Jack Schultz to the cast. Classic theatre comes to Katy this month with the incredibly entertaining production of The Fantasticks, directed by Elizabeth Mace, at Katy Visual & Performing Arts Center (KVPAC), and performed by Encore Players, Katy's premier community theatre.

David Gonski, Chairman of Sydney Theatre Company, today announced that Andrew Upton has been appointed Artistic Director of Sydney Theatre Company commencing 1 January 2013. For the past five years, Andrew Upton has been Co Artistic Director of the Company with Cate Blanchett. The duo's final program - for 2013 - will be announced on 6 September this year.

Additional casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's ANYTHING GOES, the new Broadway revival of Cole Porter's timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece, which will make its Cleveland premiere October 2, 2012 at PlayhouseSquare as part of the KeyBank Broadway Series.
